Trim margins from every page of a PDF to remove whitespace or scan edges.

🔒 Runs entirely on your device — nothing is uploaded

What is Crop PDF?

Remove wasted white space, scanner shadows or dark edges from a PDF. Set how much to trim from each side as a percentage and every page is cropped consistently — helpful for reading on small screens where margins waste space.

How to use Crop PDF

  1. Choose the PDF you want to crop.
  2. Use the sliders to set how much to trim from the top, bottom, left and right.
  3. Click “Crop & download” to get the trimmed document.

Why use this tool?

Better reading on tablets and phones

Cutting wide margins lets the text fill more of a small screen, so you can read comfortably at a larger zoom.

Consistent across every page

Percentages apply uniformly, so pages stay aligned rather than each being cropped slightly differently.

Frequently asked questions

Is the cropped content deleted?

No — cropping sets the visible page area, which is how all PDF editors work. The content outside it is hidden rather than erased, and the page displays and prints at the smaller size.

Why can I only trim up to 45% per side?

The cap stops you accidentally cropping away the whole page. Trimming 45% from opposite sides already removes 90% of that dimension.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Every tool on Toolraq runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device — there is no upload endpoint at all. You can verify this yourself by opening your browser’s DevTools Network tab while you use the tool.
