What is Image Watermark Adder?
Protect your photos and brand your visuals with a text watermark. Tile it across the whole image to deter cropping, or tuck it into a corner for a subtle credit. A live preview shows exactly what you will get before you download.
How to use Image Watermark Adder
- Choose the image you want to watermark.
- Type your watermark text — a name, handle or © notice.
- Pick a position: tiled across the image, centred, or in any corner.
- Adjust opacity, size and colour until the preview looks right.
- Click “Add watermark & download”.
Why use this tool?
Tiling resists cropping
A single corner mark is easy to crop out. Tiling repeats the text across the whole image so it cannot be removed without damaging the picture.
Scales with your image
Watermark size is relative to the image, so it looks the same on a small thumbnail and a full-resolution photo.
Full quality preserved
The watermark is applied at the original resolution — only the preview is scaled down for speed.
Frequently asked questions
What opacity should I use?
Around 30–50% is usually right: clearly visible as a claim of ownership without overwhelming the image. Lower values look subtler but are easier to edit out.
Can I use a logo image instead of text?
This tool watermarks with text. For a logo, overlay it using the Images → PDF or an image editor — logo watermarking is a candidate for a future update.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool on Toolraq runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device — there is no upload endpoint at all. You can verify this yourself by opening your browser’s DevTools Network tab while you use the tool.
